FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which areas do you cover?

I am based in Burghfield Common which is within easy reach of Reading, Maidenhead, Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Newbury, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Wokingham and their surrounding areas.

How many guests can you cater for?

I can cater for up to 150 guests.

Will the china match?

I have approximately 100 beautiful floral teacup trios (cup, saucer and side plate) of many varied patterns and colours, the vast majority of which will match within their trio, but the overall effect is a beautiful mismatched vintage array. By using a combination of other styles and patterns, which creates a vibrant eclectic mix, I can also cater for up to 150.

Do you have any themed sets?

There are several themed collections to choose from should you have a particular style in mind (for numbers of up to 35), which can be combined in different ways to achieve the effect and number you require– see The Collection and Gallery. I’m also more than happy to discuss any overall style or colour-scheme that you wish to achieve and help put that together.

What is the condition of the china?

Since all the china is vintage, it may show some slight signs of wear on the patterns and gilding but I will ensure that there are no chipped or cracked items.

Do you deliver and collect the order?

Delivery and collection, to either your home or venue, may be possible depending on my availability and will be charged at 45p per mile. Otherwise collection is from my home in Burghfield Common RG7.

How long is the hire period?

The standard hire period to cover your event is 3-4 days (to allow flexibility in delivery / collection / return). This can be discussed on an individual basis and agreed upon booking.

What about washing up?

Because the china is vintage and delicate, it must be handwashed – so you’ll be pleased to know that I will take care of the washing up and that the cost is included in the price.
